Our mobile RV solar installation technician, BJ Barnes, will be providing services to clients nationwide as he travels full-time with his family. If you’re interested in a mobile install in your area, be sure to let us know!

How does our mobile service work?

We offer the same services and rates as we do in our shop!

  1. You complete the installation inquiry form on our website.
  2. We contact you to determine the system that will best fit your needs.
  3. Your mobile RV solar installation is scheduled and the deposit is paid.
  4. Your main solar system components are shipped directly to you. We ask that you check the components for damage, and confirm receipt of all components.
  5. Your solar system is installed, and you’re notified of its completion.
  6. A walk-through and demonstration of the solar system is conducted with you.
  7. The remaining balance is paid and we leave you with your solar-powered RV!

Can I stay in my RV during the installation?

Since your RV’s electrical system will be disconnected for the duration of the installation, it’s more efficient if you do not stay in your RV during the install. As many of our clients full-time in their RV, we understand that this is not always possible. We can restore power to your RV at the conclusion of every work day, but understand that this will extend the amount of time it takes to complete your install. We charge an additional fee of $200.00 per day to reconnect the power of your RV.

Where does our mobile RV solar technician stay during the install?

As part of our contract, we ask that you provide a site for our mobile technician to hook-up his rig while he’s working on your RV, plus one day on either side of the install. The site can be on your (or friend’s or family member’s) property, at an RV park, or anywhere appropriate and legal for the work to take place. If it’s not possible for our installer to stay close to your rig, we ask that you provide a site within a 30 minute drive, and charge a $25.00 per day fee for additional travel expenses.
