Partial & Existing Solar System Services

If your recreational vehicle already has a solar system, but you’d like to upgrade or expand it, we’d love to help. Read on to explore additional services we offer.

Victron Energy Quattro 5000W hybrid inverter-charger for RV solar systems.

Inverter-Only Installation

An inverter receives 12V DC power and inverts it to 110V AC power, thereby allowing 120V AC appliances (microwaves, residential refrigerators, air conditioners with EasyStarts, etc.) to run without being connected to shore or generator power. If you’re looking to connect an inverter to existing solar panels, avoid running your generator as often, or boondock with a bit more power, an inverter-only installation may suit your needs.

Solar Panel(s)-Only Installation

Recharge your battery bank faster and keep your batteries full for longer periods of time by adding more solar panels to your array. Or swap your existing solar panels for different panels that are a better fit for the dimensions of your RV, and allow more wattage overall.

Battery Bank-Only Installation

Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are the best recreational vehicle house batteries on the market as well as the cheapest over time. Lithium batteries have 100% depth of discharge, making one lithium battery equivalent to two lead acid batteries in both weight and power usage, although lithium batteries last ten times as long.

Lithium batteries have built-in management systems which they utilize to protect themselves from damage, and require zero user maintenance. Upgrading and/or expanding your batteries is the best way to get more power from your RV.

Not sure about upgrading to lithium batteries? Review the chart below to see how they compare to standard RV House Batteries.
